Tom's Guide x LG Holiday Gift Guide

Marketing
Project Overview
Working within a Marketing team often means designing beyond what already exists. For a sales proposal to LG, we pitched a sponsored Tom’s Guide Holiday Gift Guide — a new editorial and advertising experience that would only be built if sold.My role was to visualize the opportunity clearly and convincingly.

Heading 4

I mocked up:

  • A Holiday Gift Guide landing page featuring curated tech products, a full-bleed hero, and a responsive sponsorship unit highlighting LG. This required balancing editorial UX with integrated ad placement — ensuring the sponsorship felt premium but native to the Tom’s Guide experience.
  • Co-branded traffic driver ads promoting the gift guide while showcasing LG’s partnership, aligning both brands within a single visual system.
Deliverables
Because the product didn’t yet exist, the challenge was translating a concept into something tangible and persuasive. I had to quickly design a page that felt production-ready, stay true to Tom’s Guide’s brand and UX patterns, and thoughtfully integrate LG’s visual identity into the proposed ad placements.

In addition to the design work, I structured and built the proposal slides for the final pitch deck — ensuring the narrative, visuals, and product mockups worked together cohesively.

This project reinforced the importance of speculative design: creating compelling, realistic experiences that help stakeholders envision what’s possible before anything is built.
